National Drug Take-Back Day scheduled for April 25

C.A.S.S. will host its next drug take-back event on Saturday, April 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Anyone wishing to dispose of unused prescriptions or other drugs may do so at a number of sites.

Permanent Red Med drop boxes are available permanently at the following locations: 

  • Ontwa/Edwardsburg Police Department
    26296 East Main St., Edwardsubrg
    8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday
    8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday
  • Pokagon Tribal Health Center
    58620 Sink Road, Dowagiac
    7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
    7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday
  • Dowagiac Police Department
    241 S. Front St., Dowagiac
    8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday
  • Family Fair Supermarket
    56151 M-51, Dowagiac
    6 a.m. to midnight, 7 days a week
  • Michigan State Police Post: Niles
    1600 Silverbrook, Niles
    Available 24/7
  • Cass County Sheriff's Office
    321 M-62, Cassopolis
    Available 24/7

The following sites are only open during National Drug Take Back Day:

  • Marcellus Township Hall

Red Med boxes in Ontwa/Edwardsburg Police Department, Family Fare in Dowagiac and Pokagon Health Center will be open National Drug Take Back Day.
