In accordance with Michigan law, the items have been run through the Law Enforcement Information Network (LEIN) to verify ownership, or to check for lost or stolen reports. The items have had negative results in all three processes. It is the intent of the Cass County Sheriff’s Office to dispose of any unclaimed items involved in these cases if not claimed within 30 days of this date: 01/31/25.
Any legal ownership claims must be in writing, verifying ownership of the specific items.
