Cass County Land Bank Authority will conduct a closeout public hearing on November 13, 2026 at 10 a.m. at the Cass County Administration Building, 120 N. Broadway, Cassopolis, Room 311, for the purpose of affording citizens an opportunity to submit comments and receive a final report on the completion of the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) grant. 

The CDBG grant provided funding to assist in creating two (2) in-fill housing units where there were demolished blighted structures. Identified addresses are 419 S. East St., Cassopolis and 310 N. Disbrow, Cassopolis. Assisted households were at or below 80% AMI and followed CDBG activity and compliance requirements. All the CDBG activities benefited low- to moderate-income persons; zero (0) persons will be displaced as a result of the project.

Interested parties are invited to comment on the project in person at the public hearing or in writing through November 13, 2026, and addressed to Hope Anderson, 120 N. Broadway, Suite 220, Cassopolis, MI 49031, or at hopea@cassco.org. 

Citizen views and comments on the program are welcome.
